If you’re making the switch to an electric or plug-in hybrid car, you’ll find life much easer with a dedicated fast charger at home. Solar PV

If you have Solar PV installed or are thinking of having it installed, you are advised to have a charger that can “see” the solar system. EV chargers that can see the Solar PV system know if there is any excess energy flowing out to the grid and instead divert it to the car if it’s plugged in. Load Balancing

All the fast car chargers that I install have load balancing. What this means is the charger can see the total usage of electricity within the property, so if other high load items are turned on, if necessary it can lower its charge rate while that other appliance is running (examples being range cooker or electric shower). This is to ensure you do not max out your electricity supply.
